After the hectic Christmas and New year, Valentines day is fast approaching and we are in the process of sourcing the best red roses at competitive prices, which believe me is a nightmare.
Especially as we have to meet the needs of our loyal customer base that we have built up over the years, both corporate and the public sector, who expects something a little different than the major supermarkets can provide.
Perhaps the personal touch, and care that Bloomers staff takes makes the difference! We appreciate that quality is better than price having said that we must remain competitive in the market place but we will not jeopardise on quality.
Once Valentines is out of the way we have Mothers day at the end of March to organise and look forward to.
Both Julie and I are in the process of quoting for various contracts both in the motor racing industry and other fields.
As well as looking forward hopefully to a busy wedding season although quiet at the moment gives us a breather to sort ourselves out.

At long last after much searching our long awaited web site has been designed. Thanks to the help and understanding of our scribbling and whims, that have been forwarded to Luke of Bennett Design he has come up trumps with what we believe is a nice web site. Please visit this page regularly as it will have up and coming news of the trials and tribulations of both Bloomers Corporate and Bloomers Retail florists.
Now the web site is complete it gives us the opportunity to organise and order necessary stocks for our Christmas product range in our busy shop which will arrive mid November onwards as well as organising and finalising the floral decorations for the Christmas parties that we have been commissioned to do on behalf of our clients.
Although we and the staff at Bloomers are fortunate to be kept busy we are looking forward to what we believe is a well-earned break (we would say that)! prior to the start of our New Year's Eve Parties. We look forward to a busy 2006.
